Blackpool boss Ian Holloway is excited about today fixtures release.
The reality of promotion will hit home as Pool find out when they will face the likes of Manchester United, Liverpool, Arsenal and Carlo Ancelotti's double-winning Chelsea side, who manager Holloway would love to face on the opening day.
"I keep being asked who I'd want first game and the answer is Chelsea at home," he told the Blackpool Gazette.
"I'd love it to be one of the big clubs and Chelsea would be perfect because the World Cup will have a bearing on their mood and mindset.
"Manchester United have got six players at the World Cup but Chelsea have 17.
"If they have to come to Blackpool first game with players who have just won or lost the World Cup, they aren't going to be in the right frame of mind.
"So I want them at home - and if that's the case, watch out Chelsea!"
The Premier League campaign begins on August 14 and chairman Karl Oyston has no preference about who Pool come up against.
He said: "I don't mind. We have to play them all twice, so I don't care."
"It would be nice for Blackpool to have some of the 'bigger' games during the tourist season, so the town can maximise the visitors and revenues."
