Blackpool boss Holloway: Everton's Moyes can handle Man Utd job

Blackpool boss Ian Holloway feels Everton counterpart David Moyes is the man to succeed Sir Alex Ferguson at Manchester United.

Blackpool face Everton in the FA Cup this weekend.

"I'm up against the man I reckon would be perfect to one day follow in the footsteps of Sir Alex Ferguson," enthused Holloway.

"Moyesey is a top operator. Everton are a huge club in every way apart from the fact that they don't seem to have a lot of money to spend.

"They have remained competitive over the past decade because David has stamped his personality on the place from top to bottom.

"I've got the feeling that he might end up in the biggest job of them all.

"If Sir Alex ever decides to pack it in then I'm sure Moysey's name will be high on the list of potential successors."
