Blackpool boss Ian Holloway feels England are showing promise under Roy Hodgson.
Ollie wrote in the Sunday Mirror: "It's been a steady if unspectacular start to England's World Cup qualifying campaign.
"Four points from two games suggests that the road to Brazil is going to be a bit bumpier than we would have liked.
"But what struck me is that at last we have an England team that looks like it's totally motivated.
"Injuries to key men have not helped Roy Hodgson, but it's clear the players have bought into what he is trying to do.
"Has that got anything to do with the fact they recognise a proud Englishman who wants to do his best for his country? Well, I certainly think so."
