Blackburn Rovers fullback Stephen Warnock has no regrets over leaving Liverpool last season.

He told the Sunday Mirror: "I'm delighted because I'm playing a lot of games, which is what I wanted.

"I don't want to say I was part of a squad that won the European Cup - then have to admit I didn't play.

"Being a footballer is about playing games. I was fed up."
