Blackburn Rovers will be without Robbie Savage for the next month - but he will NOT need knee surgery.
The ex-Wales midfielder, 33, was carried off at Tottenham on Sunday. But although scans revealed some damage to the medial ligament, it will not require an op.
A Rovers source told The Sun: "The news isn't as bad as we feared."
