Blackburn Rovers midfielder Steven Reid has been hit by another injury setback.

Serious knee and back problems have sidelined the Blackburn winger for 14 months.

Reid looked to be near a first-team return but he limped off with a hamstring twinge playing for the reserves against Liverpool.
