Blackburn's Pedersen: Opposition have worked me out

Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen admits his modest form this season is due to opponents having worked out how to play him.

He admitted: "It's really hard - people are aware of you. You have to work hard and play a little bit differently sometimes.

"But at least we have loads of people who score this season, so if I can put the ball in and they score it's no problem for me.

"I will score sooner or later. There's no rush - I just want to play and do my best. I know I'm 100% again and I hope I'll get it soon."

Pedersen, 26, is taking heart from Rovers striker Roque Santa Cruz - who has seen many of his goals this season come in rapid bursts.

"I hope when I score it won't just be one - and I will get on a roll," he added.

"I can't get myself down because I haven't scored; I have to work hard and I think I've improved on other things this season.

"When I get my goal-scoring form back I think it will be very good.

"You can see from what Roque has done - when you get on a roll you can do almost anything, and the ball will go in the net."
