Blackburn striker Benni McCarthy has been ruled out of the UEFA Cup match against MyPa on Thursday and is doubtful for the home Premier League clash against Arsenal on Sunday.
The South African will remain at home when the team travel to Finland on Wednesday after suffering concussion at the weekend.
McCarthy collapsed on the pitch after an aerial collision during the 2-1 victory at Middlesbrough but was able to return with the squad.
Manager Mark Hughes said: "Benni has been checked over again and is okay.
"But he got a bang on the temple, which shook him up, and the MyPa game has come too soon for him."
