Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes believes Andriy Shevchenko is rediscovering his best form now that Jose Mourinho has left Chelsea.

Hughes - a former world class striker - is convinced Chelsea's £31 million star is a born again hit-man under Avram Grant.

He said: "I don't know if the relationship he has with Avram Grant is different from the one he had with Jose. There was talk that relationship had broken down so maybe the change in management has helped him.

"In recent weeks I have thought he has looked more dynamic and happy with his situation. He's smiling again and, more importantly, he has kept on the scoresheet.

"Though it won't be good news for us if Shevchenko is smiling on Sunday!"
