Blackburn Rovers midfielder Brett Emerton, has been growing frustrated at his lack of first-team football. The Australian international scored his side's last-gasp winner as they fought back for a dramatic, late win at Blackpool on Saturday.
It was a welcome relief for Emerton, who has not been in Sam Allardyce's starting XI all season, as the 31-year-old confesses that he has been growing annoyed.
He said in the Daily Star: "It has been frustrating for me.
"As a player you always want to be playing but the boys have been doing a decent job and I recognise that.
"I'm not the sort to go knocking on the manager's door. I try to let my feet do the talking on the pitch, on the training ground and when I get my opportunity."
