Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Dunn admits he made the right decision snubbing Bolton Wanderers in January.

Blackburn host Sam Allardyce's Newcastle United today and Dunn said: "Hopefully, I can do well against Newcastle and remind Sam why he wanted to sign me.

"He was great when I decided to come back here. He knew deep down there was only one place I wanted to go.

"Maybe it's a good job I didn't join Bolton as he was gone a few months later!"
