Blackburn Rovers striker Matt Derbyshire rated his strike at Middlesbrough as the best of his career.
"I enjoyed the goal. I've been in that situation and in that area in training. It's about getting your head up and having a look around. If you see something on, then have a go.
"When I hit it, I knew it was going in. I'm delighted it went in, but I'm delighted for the boys as well that we've got the three points.
"We are up the table already and hopefully we can take that into the next game.
"It was important to get those points on the board. We've got targets to hit and if we keep hitting our targets in games such as this, we'll do okay."
