"It's one of the best I've scored - definitely the quickest I've scored," said the former Great Harwood Town striker. "But it's only one goal this season and hopefully I can get a few more if I get the time to play.
"I enjoyed the goal. I've been in that situation and in that area in training. It's about getting your head up and having a look around. If you see something on, then have a go.
"When I hit it, I knew it was going in. I'm delighted it went in, but I'm delighted for the boys as well that we've got the three points.
"We are up the table already and hopefully we can take that into the next game.
"It was important to get those points on the board. We've got targets to hit and if we keep hitting our targets in games such as this, we'll do okay."
