Blackburn Rovers striker Matt Derbyshire remains hopeful of clinching a move to Olympiakos.

Derbyshire, 23, was on loan at the Greek side for five months last season and has been offered a four-year deal.

Rovers boss Sam Allardyce wants £4million for the player but, so far, the Athens outfit have offered only £2million with a further £1m in add-ons.
