Blackburn Rovers winger David Bentley will be in London today.

The Daily Mail says Bentley is expected to have a medical at White Hart Lane on Wednesday morning before becoming Juande Ramos's ninth signing at Tottenham.

Blackburn chairman John Williams confirmed on Tuesday that the club were in negotiations with Spurs, who are understood to have upped their bid to around £15million plus add-ons.

A bid in excess of £15m for 23-year-old England winger Bentley would take Ramos's spending to more than £65m since he took over from Martin Jol seven months ago.
