Blackburn's Bentley not living on Man Utd hat-trick

Blackburn Rovers midfielder David Bentley doesn't want to be living off his previous hat-trick against Manchester United.

"I watched my hat-trick on TV again the other day. It was only two seasons ago but it feels like a lifetime because so much has happened to me since then," said Bentley.

"I've got the ball, which was signed by all the Blackburn players, in a special case at home. But I don't dwell on what happened that day.

"You have to look forward, not backwards. It was a great moment but I want to be remembered for performing consistently well - not just in one-off games."
