Blackburn Rovers boss Mark Hughes has revealed David Bentley won't be named in Steve McClaren's England squad today.

Hughes said: "I have spoken to Steve McClaren and he has spoken to the player himself and David has not got the call this time.

"David has just got to concentrate on what he does here and if he plays well enough I'm sure he will get opportunities at international level. And Steve McClaren himself said that to me."
