Blackburn Rovers are expected to soon open new contract talks with David Dunn and Steven Reid.
The Lancashire Telegraph says both midfielders are inside the final 12 months of their existing deals and will be free to speak with interested clubs from January 1.
Dunn has been outstanding for Rovers this season and has won public praise from Manchester United manager Sir Alex Ferguson and Arsenal's Arsene Wenger.
Reid is back after long-term knee injury and Rovers manager Sam Allardyce admits he sees the midfielder is a key part of his future plans.
