Blackburn won't give up on Faye deal

Blackburn Rovers refuse to shelve their bid for Rangers midfielder Amdy Faye.

The Mirror says Blackburn are checking with FIFA to find out if they can sign Senegalese midfielder Faye for the rest of the season.

Faye is due to join Rovers on loan as a stop-gap replacement for Robbie Savage, but he has already played for both Charlton and Rangers in this campaign.

Faye currently is on loan at Rangers and is unwanted by Charlton, who own his contract.
