Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen has paid tribute to Norway teammate John Arne Riise.
Pedersen feels the Fulham left-back is one of the best his nation has produced.
Pedersen, 29, said: "John is a good player and it's a big achievement to play 100 games for the national team.
"He went to Monaco early in his career. It's big credit to him. When he has had a bad time he has always bounced back and showed great belief. He's a strong character.
"Hopefully it will be a good memory for him. I have 70 caps and I'm looking forward to playing for another few years. Hopefully I can achieve the same as John."
