Blackburn Rovers do not want to lose striker Benjani Mwaruwari. The Lancashire Telegraph says Benjani is still expected to sign a one-year contract with Rovers, despite not travelling with the squad to Austria for their pre-season training camp on Sunday.
The former Bolton Wanderers and Portsmouth forward is currently a free agent.
