ChampionshipBlackburn Rovers are keen to keep Hull City's Tom Cairney past the end of his initial loan deal. Rovers boss Gary Bowyer told the Lancashire Telegraph: "He's a very good, technical player and we were fortunate we were able to get him when we did.

"I think everyone would agree that they would want Tom Cairney to stay at our football club not just until May, but for a long time.

"That's something we'll be working toward, that's for sure."
