Blackburn Rovers are reluctant to meet Lech Poznan's asking price for Robert Lewandowski.
The Lancashire Telegraph says Rovers are understood to have already made a huge impression on the 21-year-old and his club Lech Poznan but are unlikely to be willing to meet the Poles' £5million price tag.
Genoa and Borussia Dortmund are also in the race to sign the striker, with the Italians already having a verbal bid for in the region of £4.3m turned down, with Poznan keen to tie up a sale by the end of the week.
Rovers have yet to submit an official bid for Lewandowski, with their valuation seemingly some way from the asking price, and are ready to step up their interest in other targets if a compromise can't be reached.
