Blackburn waiting for Galatasaray to make Grella offer

Blackburn Rovers are in no rush to offload Aussie midfielder Vince Grella.

The Lancashire Telegraph says it is understood that Turkish giants Galatasaray recently made a tentative enquiry about Grella but Rovers have heard nothing since and are not actively attempting to sell the 30-year-old.

Paul Ince brought Grella, who will represent Australia at this summer’s World Cup, to Ewood Park from Italian side Torino for £4m.

Galatasaray already have fellow Australians Lucas Neill, himself a former Rovers player, and Harry Kewell on their books and are in the market for a midfielder.
