Blackburn Rovers veteran Michel Salgado has caught the acting bug after his role in Venky's new TV advert.
Salgado is given a starring role as they all eat chicken in a dressing room before a game in a cheesy TV advert which is certain to earn them plenty of mickey taking.
Salgado said: "I have seen the advert this morning and to be honest it has turned out better than I thought. It was a lovely day for us and it was a lot of fun we did eight hours' filming for 26 seconds.
"It shows Venky's are prepared to put our name around the world. I hope I get free chicken for life now!"
Venky's have received criticism from some fans or not backing up their takeover promises with hard cash in the transfer market but they are clearly trying to use the club to promote their own business.
