Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce is moving for Lyon striker Frederic Piquionne.
The Lancashire Telegraph says after missing out on Robert Lewandowski, who is joining Borussia Dortmund, Allardyce is turning to Piquionne, who spent last season on-loan at Portsmouth.
The 31-year-old, who has one cap for France, is currently on Lyon's books but is well down the pecking order at the Stade Gerland.
