Blackburn Rovers are taking a close look at a mystery international trialist.

The Lancashire Evening Telegraph says the midfielder is available on a free transfer and is tipped to star at this summer's Euro 2008 Championships.

He has been training with Rovers for the last few days and could join the club's European push.
