Blackburn tracking Belgium young gun Witsel

Standard Liege youngster Axel Witsel is being tracked by Blackburn Rovers according to skysports.com.

The 22-year old Belgium international midfielder is also being pursued by Portuguese giants Benfica making it an interesting race for his services.

Rovers boss Steve Kean is determined to bring Witsel to Ewood Park as he is being labeled as one of the most talented young midfielders in Europe but they must beat Benfica to the punch if he is to get his man.
