Blackburn Rovers have reportedly made contact with Steven Naismith and Steven Whittaker regarding a summer move to the club.
The pair stated this week they would not be transferring their contracts across to Rangers' newco with Rovers boss Steve Kean straight on the phone.
The Ewood Park outfit are trying to put together a squad which will get them straight back in the Premier League following last season's relegation and having Naismith and Whittaker available strongly interests Kean who will be financially backed by owners Venky's to bring in quality players.
