Blackburn Rovers target Ian Holloway has a £500,000 buyout clause in his Blackpool contract.

The Mirror says Seasiders boss Holloway has emerged as a leading contender for the vacancy at Ewood Park, and the switch to the Lancashire neighbours can happen as Holloway has an exit written into his deal.

Holloway has a fixed compensation figure if he is head-hunted by clubs, with the 'transfer fee' for a Championship club low enough to interest Blackburn.
