Manchester City striker Benjani Mwaruwari is set to join Blackburn Rovers for £2 million.
The Sunday Mirror says the Zimbabwe international is surplus to requirements at City following the summer arrivals of Emmanuel Adebayor and Carlos Tevez and Sam Allardyce has made an approach to take him to Ewood Park.
A deal will be done if Benjani can agree personal terms.
