Blackburn Rovers are launching a bid for Fulham striker Andy Johnson.

The Daily Mail says Blackburn will offer Johnson a two-year contract on wages of around £40,000 a week if they can persuade Fulham to sell in January.

Although Martin Jol says Johnson is not for sale, a £2million bid may be enough for a player who will be free in the summer.
