Blackburn Rovers chairman John Williams says new contract talks will be delayed.

"Our whole focus has to be on staying up at the moment. That is what every single effort is being put into at the moment," Williams told the Lancashire Evening Telegraph.

"We are not in contract discussions with any of our senior players at this moment, that will have to wait.

"The only contracts that are being talked about at the moment is for the youngsters, like offering Andy Haworth a new deal this week. We want to make sure we keep the best youngsters."
