Blackburn style set to give goalkeepers nightmares - Birmingham's Foster

Birmingham City goalkeeper Ben Foster believes Blackburn Rovers' long-ball style and amount of tall players will give plenty of gloveman nightmares this season.

The former Manchester United man was the key as the Blues recorded a 2-1 win at home over the Rovers but says it was not an easy task as he had to deal with giants and plenty of balls in the penalty area.

"It's such a nightmare for a goalkeeper. Some goalkeepers are going to have nightmares against this team this season," he said.

"You've got 6ft6in guys in there. You saw, the end of the first half, I was catching balls from Paul Robinson on my goal line and it's frightening.

"Blackburn will surprise a lot of teams this season. They play some really hard football to play against. They get the ball in the box at any opportunity as you can see."
