Jason Roberts admits he does not know if he has a long-term future at Ewood Park with Blackburn Rovers. The former Wigan forward came off the bench to score twice in Saturday's 3-1 Premier League victory over Portsmouth.
When asked about his future, the 31 year old said: "I'll have to see. The manager has decisions to make about formations and personnel.
"I've been here a long time and enjoyed it. Time will tell."
Allardyce is keen for Roberts to become more aggressive, but the ex-West Brom man believes it is too late in his career to change style.
"That's the manger's opinion," he said. "I just do what I do and I've been playing at this level for a long time. You can't teach an old dog new tricks."
