Blackburn Rovers striker Franco di Santo admits he's reluctant to return to parent club Chelsea in January.
Di Santo has hopes of making Argentina's World Cup squad and believes playing regularly at Ewood Park will give him his best chance.
He told Lancashire Evening Telegraph: "Of course. I think all the players wants to play in the World Cup. I will do my best in every game and it is up to the international coach to call me.
"I think maybe staying at Blackburn Rovers would help me. Here I am playing games far more than I did last season. Maybe though If I go back to Chelsea I could score a few goals and stay in the team for them.
"At the moment everything is the same. But I don't want to concentrate on that at the moment, I want to concentrate on Blackburn Rovers.
"In January we will see whether it is Blackburn or whether it is Chelsea."
