Bolton Wanderers goalkeeper Ali Al-Habsi is a target for his old boss Sam Allardyce at Blackburn Rovers. Allardyce plans a January raid for Al-Habsi, whom he brought to Bolton from Norwegian outfit Lyn Oslo on a free transfer three years ago.
His Blackburn predecessor Paul Ince, sacked last week, also fancied Oman international Al-Habsi.
Asia's No.1 keeper is out of contract in the summer and at loggerheads with Bolton, who want him to pull out of the Gulf Cup in his native country in the New Year.
Tottenham boss Harry Redknapp is also weighing up a move for Al-Habsi as a replacement for Heurelho Gomes.
And Newcastle's Joe Kinnear expects second-choice keeper Steve Harper to sign a new contract, but will turn to Al-Habsi if he doesn't.
