Blackburn Rovers are pushing to land Hoffenheim striker Vedad Ibisevic.

The Lancashire Telegraph says the Bundesliga outfit Hoffenheim denied reports that an official bid from Blackburn Rovers had been accepted for their Bosnian striker Ibisevic.

Sources close to the player have confirmed there is firm interest from Rovers though and, while there is nothing concrete, negotiations between all parties will continue.
