Notts County goalkeeper Kasper Schmeichel is set for a Premiership return.

The Mirror says Blackburn boss Sam Allardyce is lining up a £1m bid for Schmeichel.

Allardyce will attempt to raid County for record signing Schmeichel this summer in a bid to provide competition for Paul Robinson.

Schmeichel, 23, is County's top earner on £12,000 a week and is set to be offloaded to ease their wage bill.
