New Blackburn Rovers signing Carlos Villanueva has been hit by a bout of chicken pox.

"All the grains are healing but not 100% of it has gone," Villanueva told Radio Cooperativa. "But I feel good, everything went normal and I'm doing some exercises on my own in order not to contaminate the rest of the squad."

The 22-year-old, loaned for a year by Audax Italiano with an option for a permanent move, has been impressed by Rovers' facilities.

"The stadium is gorgeous and the facilities are extraordinary, of a very good level," he finished.
