Blackburn's newest signing, Lars Jacobsen, has revealed he chose to join the Rovers so he could have more stability.
The Denmark international who spent just one season with Everton, wanted to settle himself somewhere and the two-year deal offered to him by Blackburn was more attractive than a one-year proposal mooted by the Toffees.
"My wish was to get something stabile, and Everton wanted to give me a one-year contract. I didn't really find that interesting," Jacobsen told TV2 Sporten.
"I have changed clubs a little too many times the last two years, and I really want more stabilization in my life.
"I felt that I could get that at Blackburn, and a two-year contract fits me really good."
The 29-year old defender has also had spells at Odense, Hamburg, Copenhagen and Nurnberg.
