Blackburn showing interest in Elfsborg’s Avdic
Blackburn Rovers manager Sam Allardyce is showing interest in Elfsborg goal machine Denni Avdic.
The 21-year old Bosnian-born Swedish striker has been on fire in the Allsvenskan this term with 17 goals in 20 appearances and Allardyce has sent scouts to take a closer look at him in action when Elfsborg take on Napoli in Europa League qualifying on Thursday night.
Avdic is rated at £2million which suits the fiscally challenged Rovers but they will need to act fast if they want to lure him to Ewood Park as Italian club Bologna are also showing considerable interest.
