Blackburn set price for Southampton, West Ham target Yakubu

Blackburn Rovers will sell Yakubu Aiyegbeni for £2 million this summer.

The Lancashire Telegraph says Yakubu has also now admitted that he does not want to play in the second tier – although he remains under contract until a club activates a clause, understood to come into force following a bid of around £2m as a result of Rovers’ relegation from the top flight.

Southampton and Wets Ham United have been linked with the Nigerian.
