Blackburn Rovers boss Sam Allardyce sees PSG midfielder Jerome Rothen as the man to fill the void left by the retiring Tugay.
French international Rothen is in talks with PSG about cancelling his contract and going to Rovers on a free transfer, bringing a touch of class to Allardyce's side.
Rothen, 31, has switched from playing on the left wing to a central role and he could be ideal as a provider of the passes that veteran Tugay used to produce before he was released.
