Michael Appleton has been sacked by Championship outfit Blackburn Rovers.
Rovers have made the decision after they were held to a draw by local rivals Burnley at the weekend and were dumped out of the FA Cup by Millwall last week.
The club are 18th in The Championship and are just four points clear of relegation.
Appleton left Blackpool to join Rovers in the new year after just 65 days in charge at Bloomfield Road.
In 15 games he won four, drew five and lost six.
