Blackburn Rovers winger Morten Gamst Pedersen led Norway to an easy 4-0 victory over Scotland in World Cup qualifying last night.
After former Liverpool star John Arne Riise opened the scoring for the home team in the 35th minute, Pedersen received a pass from Fulham recruit Bjorn Helge Riise and guided a left foot shot past Scotland keeper David Marshall moments before the break to make it 2-0.
Fifteen minutes after the re-start, a third was added by Erik Huseklepp before 27-year old Pedersen grabbed his second with a curling free-kick against the helpless ten-man Scots to make it 4-0.
