Blackburn Rovers defender Andre Ooijer's chances of returning to Holland are increasingly likely.
The 34-year olds contract expires next summer and although it is not certain where he will end up, it seems likely that a return to his homeland is on the cards.
"My contract is due to expire next year and then I am a free agent at the end of the season," Ooijer told the Dutch FA's official website.
"In principle I am allowed to talk to other clubs from January.
"If it is up to me and my family, I will return to the Netherlands."
He added: "I have read that there is a lot of interest in me, but I really have got no idea yet which club I will eventually move to."
