Blackburn Rovers forward Nikola Kalinic has threatened to leave the club if he is not soon given game time.

The 23-year old Croatian, scorer of five Premier League goals in 16 appearances this term, has not played in the past five matches for the Lancashire club.

He says that if he does not play in the final six games of the season, he may seek an exit route in the summer.

"I still have a contract for the next two years but if nothing changes then I will have to find a new club," he said.

"I have been pushed aside since my return from national team action."

Reports suggest that Aston Villa are interested in the £6million-rated former Hajduk Split man.
