Blackburn Rovers midfielder Vince Grella will return to Italy once his contract with the Premier League club ends.
The injury-prone Australian midfielder has not featured for the Ewood Park outfit since September and is set to move on at the end of the current season.
It had been suggested that Grella may head back to Australia to play in the A-League like former Rovers teammate Brett Emerton but has had confirmed on Tuttosport that he will be returning to Italy this European summer.
"I will be released in June, next year I will return to play in Italy," Grella said.
The 32-year old joined Blackburn in 2008 and has managed just 45 appearances following stints with Italian outfits Empoli, Ternana, Parma and Torino.
