Brett Emerton should be available for Blackburn Rovers' meeting with Everton on August 27.
The Australian international midfielder was subbed off at half-time of Rovers' 2-1 loss to Wolves last weekend with a hamstring injury and has been ruled out of Saturday's trip to Aston Villa.
But manager Steve Kean says that the 32-year old will be fit for the visit of Tim Cahill and the Toffees next week.
"Brett felt his hamstring and it is probably going to be another three or four days, but he will be available for Everton," Kean told the club's official website.
