Blackburn's Diouf now wanted by Wigan and West Brom

Blackburn Rovers firebrand El-Hadji Diouf's talks with Turkish club Konyaspor appear to have broken down prompting two Premier League clubs to convey their interest.

The controversial 30-year old Senegal forward has been told by rovers management that he is free to leave the club this winter and Konya were the first team to come in with a concrete offer, believed to be worth about £3million.

But Diouf's agent, Willie McKay, says his client is keen to remain in England, confirming interest from Wigan Athletic and West Bromwich Albion.

"We are talking to four Premier League clubs and hope to have something sorted before the end of the week. Much depends on Steve Kean letting him go out on a free transfer," McKay said.
